Judy Ann Santos doesn’t believe in the theory that an actress’s popularity wanes once she gets married. “The audinces’ brain is so much matured now. If you’re a good actress, on how you manage your career, and those people surrounding you, on how you chose your project you’ll never be lost,” she explained.
Judai even cited the careers of Sharon Cuneta and Kris Aquino to prove her point. “There’s so many married actresses that is still in the industry. Maybe it was just timing,” she added. She did acknowledged the fact that an actress’s priorities may inevitably change once she decides to tie the knot. When Judai finally married actor-host Ryan Agoncillo, she temporarily stepped out of the limelight to give time to her family life. “Maybe women really need to decide to lie-low for a while. It’s a choice. It’s a decision we have to make coz we aslo need to focus on our family,” she admitted.
The actress said that having been in the business for most of her life, it would not be hard for people to understand if she decides to leave showbiz every now and then to give time to her family.
Aside from her scheduled comeback to the primetime slot next year via Habang May Buhay, Judai is excited about working with Sarah Geronimo in a movie slated for 2010. “the bagets (Sarah) is excited and I’m also excited working with her. We already talked about how we can change our image upon shooting our film coz I also want that the that lady would look different in this movie. I’m more excited that Sarah would do drama,” she revealed.

Sen. Bong Revilla is so proud of his son Jolo Revilla most especially to the abilities Jolo had shown on Pepeng Agimat. Of course, Sen. In a recent interview with Tweetbiz, Philippine television’s Primetime Queen Marian Rivera denied rumors that she is now shacking up with rumored boyfriend Dingdong Dantes.
According to the actress, she is so busy at work that she barely has time to go to her own house and rest, much less visit (or live with) Dingdong.
She also shared her Christmas plan of visiting her dad in Madrid. For his part, Dingdong said that he is willing to accompany Marian to Spain if her plan pushes through.

It took more than a year after he was declared the Big Winner of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus before he landed a role in Katorse, Ejay Falcon said he thinks the timing is just perfect. “You know what I’m thankful that I was given a project just now if the success feels like this. Coz just as I went out of PBB house and I’m not ready, its like it’s hard to act,” he explained
The dusky actor from Mindoro related that after his PBB win, he told Business Unit Head Laurenti Dyogi that he needed time to prepare himself before he tried acting. “Then here it goes. Those times that I’m not having any work, at least I’m on a workshop and shaping up my body,” Ejay added.
Eventhough newbie actor continues to receive harsh criticisms about his acting skills, he would rather take it as a challenge. “Its like those were helping a lot. I’m more challenged to do better in acting everytime I read articles like that. I’ll strive further,” he said. Ejay was quick to add that while he still feels sad about the negative things being said about him, he is determined to prove his detractors wrong.
After Katorse, Ejay will soon be seen in the teleserye Tanging Yaman which is due out next year and will star Melissa Ricks, Erich Gonzales, Enchong Dee, Matt Evans, Rowell Santiago, Jodi Sta. Maria, Mylene Dizon, and many more.

As Claudine Barreto transfers to GMA-7, it couldn’t be avoided working with her ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez. Is Claudine willing to work again with her ex? Claudine tells us on an interview by Lhar Santiago: “Yes.” Claudine tells the press during her contract signing last November 25 that she’s ready working again with Mark Anthony Fernandez.
She stated, “My husband is allowing me. There’s no problem with him.” And on her end, Claudine is okay to work with Mark Anthony again. “Hopefully,” she tells us, “The same on Mark’s end. So that finally we can have a closure. Coz there really wasn’t.”
Now that they both have families of their own, Claudine says she believes that they can work together without hang-ups. Besides, Claudine admits to the press na “I believe that he’s one of the most brilliant actors.”
In fact, she’s already excited to the possibility that they will be working together.

Jolina is one of the original cast of TV show Gimik that ABS-CBN is planning to show again as Gimik, The Reunion. Some of the old actors of Gimik would be there again on the remake of the said youth-oriented show of Kapamilya network.
On the emerging rumors that Jolina is leaving GMA7 and returning to ABS-CBN, others are speculating that Jolina is leaving GMA7 because of the transfer of her previous co-talent on Star Magic who is Claudine Barretto on the Kapuso network. “Of whom?! Because of what? Oh, its not that. In fairness to Claudine we just recently heard about that thing on Claud ‘right? Honestly, I was really shock about Clau-Clau. So, how come it would be base to that. And if ever we have plans, Perry and I weren’t basing on our emotions. We base on what’s right and what is should be fought.”

So fresh from the 37th international Emmy Awards in New York, actress-model Angel Locsin attended the story conference for her upcoming teleserye Kokey @ Ako. A lot of people were actually surprised that she accepted to do the fantaserye right after her Emmy nomination when she could be doing another drama that could earn international acclaim.
“I’m not saying that I’m not choosing what roles I wanna play. Of course coz I’m already about eight years in the industry, I don’t want to act the same roles for me to be trained more. Coz of course, acting is also a learning experience. You doesn’t want to be stucked in one aspect only,” she began.
After some consideration, Angel said she believes that being a part of Kokey @ Ako would actually give her the chance to become a well-rounded actress. “At first I thought it’s just “kokey-kokey only”. But we’ve talked about some things and Kokey is a very interesting story. Then, they explained that it’s not just any ordinary fantasy show, it has an (environmental) cause so I grabbed it. You could learn many things here,” she explained.
Angel Locsin will be playing the role of Jackie, a news reporter who will eventually be involved in Kokey’s search for his lost baby sister as well a mission to save earthlings from a new set of evil aliens. “I’m happy coz its been a while I’m not on tv. And I’m excited coz almost of my shows were for kids and now back to kids again. And its my first time to work with Direk Lauren (Dyogi) who’s our business unit head, Direk Wenn Deramas, and Vhong (Navarro) kthat’s why we’re really looking forward to it,” she stressed.
The cast of Kokey @ Ako start taping on December 15 in time for the show’s premiere in January 2010. Since it was also announced during the meeting that it would be replacing the slot of the top-rating teleserye May Bukas Pa on Primetime Bida, ABS-CBN.com asked Angel how she feels about such a big responsibility on their end. “Yes. Almost all starting shows always have so much pressure . But for me its healthy. If you doesn’t feel any pressure, its like you’re not concerned with your show. Besides you can use it to be more diligent and beautify your show as well as all the things you’re doing,” she stated.

As Manny Pacquiao return to the country, people are abuzz to hear him answer questions regarding his rumored relationship with actress Krista Ranillo. Rumors of Manny’s alleged relationship with the sexy star further intensified when Pacman’s wife, Jinkee, cried buckets during a thanksgiving mass in Las Vegas, Nevada. Jinkee and Manny also arrived at the LAX airport yesterday separately. When the press asked Manny’s mother, Dionisia, about Jinkee’s display of emotions during the mass, her only words were, “Of course, she went emotional as her husband won the fight..”
After videos of Manny talking to a woman inside a car after his appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel Show surfaced on online sites, pictures of the boxer with Krista in Baguio have also started to spread on the Internet. The pictures were supposedly taken during Manny’s training for the Cotto fight in the City of Pines last September. The two have reportedly gotten close during their shooting for Manny’s Metro Manila Film Festival entry Wapakman where Krista plays one of his leading ladies.
On the other hand, Jinkee’s family in Sarangani couldn’t help but express their disappointment towards the People’s Champ although they have yet to talk to Jinkee about the issue. “As a mother of course I was hurt, people have really lots of rumors, maybe they’re the ones to decide about that matter,” Rosalina Jamora, Jinkee’s mom commented. She added that she hopes Krista will be wise enough to steer clear from trouble. “I hope they know that the man already has a family, I hope thaty’re the ones to avoid.” Jinkee’s dad, Nestor Jamora, also revealed that he now has no intention to support Manny’s upcoming movie because of his rumored involvement with Krista. Jinkee Pacquaio sent a meaningful text message to The Buzz host Kris Aquino about the continous intrigues that there is something going on between the boxing champ Manny Pacquiao and actress Krista Ranillo. It was when Kris texted Jinkee about the fight of Manny to Miguel Cotto last week and Jinkee replied saying she will be talking to Manny after the fight. There is more about the text message but Kris refused to tell it. “I think its too private to share,” Kris stated.
Also one showbiz columnist reported that when Manny was giving out relief goods to Ondoy’s victim, Krista is sticking with him and even her father Matt Ranillo III. There was also written reports that during Manny’s training Krista was also there. It was also confirmed by Krista’s manager who is Arnold Vegafria that Krista went to Las Vegas to support Manny and that because the two have become close friends. Krista was also with her family.
Last week, Mommy Dionisia pointed out that there’s no truth behind Manny’s linkage to any actresses. The issue about the affair of Manny and Krista become more talked when Gina Alajar posted on her Facebook account that “If I am Jinky Pacquiao, I will not give up Manny. Krista Ranillo is not all worth it!!!” Way back then, Krista was also being linked with Gina’s ex-husband Michael de Mesa.

The tandem of Comedy Queen na si Ai-ai delas Alas and new actress Pacmom Dionisia Pacquiao was very funny on the trailer on the latest movie of Star Cinema the Ang Tanging Pamilya: A Marry Go Round on the direction of Wenn Deramas. “Aling Dionisia was really funny . Even her actions were very funny,” Ai-ai begun. Mommy Dionisia is indeed a new comer to the world of showbiz so she really needs patience on some scenes. “I’m helping her. I’m guiding her, too. I told her, ‘Mommy D, this is what you’ll gonna do.’ Yup, I’m teaching her on the set. Which she’s also doing.”
Besides Mommy D, it was a first for Ai-ai to be with the legendary action king and ex-President Joseph ‘Erap’ Estrada on a movie. “When I was still dubbing for our movie, every time Erap goes out of the screen I can see that it was really something. That’s why with Erap alone, audience would be already solve. It was really a novelty to watch him again onscreen. That’s why I’m really happy with our movie. I haven’t just worked with him but we also have a kissing scene. My kissing scene with Papa Erap on the wedding scene. But it was just very, very light.” They also have bed scene. “Bed scene as in we have a bed-conversation. But I have many bold scenes, two very intimate. The one was on the opening and the other is on the middle part. It was very different on my past movies with Direk Wenn,” Ai-ai boasted.
But Direk Wenn and Ai consider a different lucky charm everytime they make a movie together. “Every movie, Direk Wenn really likes me to have a ‘panty scene’. On our eight movies with Direk Wenn, he had also taken me eight times wearing a panty. It is different every movie. A panty that’s dull. My legs are visible.
