For her upcoming holy week film, “Pasang Krus”, Rosanna Roces (a former bold star) had herself nailed to the cross as to prove that it is her desire to be considered as a serious actress. She said that she didn’t think twice as the Independent Film was first offered to her.
“I can give more because God had given it to me (acting talent). ?Our talent is form the Lord so we must give it back in return for whatever ways people can remember Him,” Osang added.
The role of Rosanna portrays a noble mother who will sacrifice to do anything for her children. The most catching scene on this film was Osang being nailed to the cross. It was she who told the director to make the scene real. After the scene, she felt closer to God for feeling that she was able unload excess baggage.
“The hard feelings inside has gone. Even those I can’t forgive are totally gone,” she added.
Rosanna Roces had vision that through this film, Pasang Krus, she’ll be recognize as a real actress.
“I want to get rid of bold image that’s why I tried to give my best,” she said referring to her previous film ‘Aurora’.
Aurora had twice given an “X” rating, saying that the rape scene in the film was unfit for public viewing and too explicit, according to the Movie Television Review & Classification Board (MTRCB).
