Pacman and Hatton

Lahing Pinoy is the official song to play at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas when the Pacman make his way against Ricky Hatton on May 2. It is Manny Pacquiao’s very own song.

Pacquiao has already recorded his latest entrance song Lahing Pinoy, composed by Lito Camo and GMA network executives Wilma Galvante and Redgie Magno.

The song Para Sa ‘Yo Ang Laban Na Ito is his previous song. Lahing Pinoy speaks of nationalism, a value that always plays out every time the reigning pound for pound king fights.

“It is a fitting accompaniment to Pacquiao’s entrance against Hatton. Its melody and lyrics is very simple. It can be easily understood by the Filipino even if they heard it only at once. It gives inspiration to the fights of Manny,” Camo said.
