Solis to Irene Kho: Don’t point your finger on anyone else

Talent manager Lolit Solis lashed back at the mother of celebrity doctor Hayden Kho Jr. and denied instructing Katrina to shed tears on national television regarding the sex video scandal.
“Mrs. Kho, don’t blame anyone else. You should instead focus on your son’s deeds so you’d know where you could help him. It was like you’re even giving your consent,” Lolit Solis said.
On a television interview last May 25, Irene Kho alleged that Solis planned Halili’s interview with GMA News so the actress-model could gain public sympathy. She even claimed that Halili was the one who introduced her son to drug use.
But Solis said Mrs. Kho was only being demented while Halili’s camp reportedly plans to sue her for her accusations.
On the other hand, Mrs. Kho slammed Sen. Ramon Bong Revoilla Jr. in an interview for supposedly dragging her into the mess. She, however, did not elaborate.
Hayden’s mom facing criminal complaint

The camp of sexy actress Katrina Halili is now preparing a criminal complaint against Irene Kho (Hayden’s mom) for accusing Halili of using and pushing drugs.
Halili’s lawyer Raymond Palad said that Hayden’s mom accusations are not just ridiculous but also impossible and their camp readying charges against Kho’s mother. He furtherly said that it would be impossible for a 20-year-old woman (Katrina) to influence 29-year-old (Hayden).
Meanwhile, Halili is willing to undergo drug testing to prove that Hayden’s mother is lying. Before Kho’s mother came out with the allegation, they already contacted the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s (PDEA) that the drug test might be conducted after the senate hearing.
PDEA chief Dionisio Santiago said that the agency will invite Kho’s mother and ask for more details about her drug related revelation. That revelations might provide a big lead in its pursuit against drug dependency in the showbiz world. Actually, PDEA has been receiving informations that some shobiz personalities are into drugs particularly ecstacy. That drug helps actors and actresses to staty awake during overnight film shootings, Santiago said.

Singer-actress Karylle was recently launched as the new female endorser of Blue Water Spa along with male image model Akihiro Sato. And since the past female endorser of that spa was Marian Rivera who was rumored to have caused the breakup of Karylle and Dingdong Dantes last year, this soon set off speculations that Karylle had gotten one over Marian Rivera.
However, at the grand launch of Blue Water Spa’s new services, the spa’s management immediately clarified that it is their tradition to get new celebrity endorsers every year. The first pair was Toni Gonzaga and Brad Turvey, which was followed by Marian and Piolo Pascual tandem.
Karylle didn’t see any reason to turn down the endorsement. The singer-actress said that she has been going to Blue Water Spa ever since it has opened a few years ago and was already familiar with the quality of their services.
Months after her split with Dingdong, Karylle is still haunted by questions concerning her ex-boyfriend. The 28-year old revealed that she followed the advice of her mother ZsaZsa Padilla on what she should do about the issues. “I asked her if I should still answer questions about Dingdong or not. She said I just answer the questions and eventually it will just die down soon. Now, there’s just few who are still asking.”

The team behind Tayong Dalawa will continue to make the plot juicier than ever as the show goes on, no adoubt about that. “There’s always pressure from the beginning. I think the key to the success of the show is our teamwork. Just like the title of the show , when you say Tayong Dalawa it’s not just one. It really takes to tango, it takes two to make a scene so we really practice that. We’ve gotten this far (Kim and Gerald) because of teamwork. I am very thankful to the two of them because they accepted me. It’s not easy to get in between the country’s most popular love team but they really helped me through it,” Jake stressed.
This led him to point out he is most comfortable to work with Kim compared with other female stars today. “If I’m doing a scene with Kim I can’t ask for more. To be very honest, my favorite leading lady has to be Kim Chiu kasi she’s very supportive with the scenes and she’s very nice to be around with even off cam.” But before the rumor mill misinterprets his statement, Jake quickly say the reason behind his closeness towards the young actress. “I really look at her as a sister to me in the same way I look at Gerald as a brother. I’m just very thankful to both of them that they let me in with what they have. That really helped in the three of us.” When told that they really bring out the best in each other, Jake agreed that they always help each other out. “We’re really challenging each other. If there’s one who is in need of help, there are two to the rescue. That’s what is good in us.”

Sexy young actress Katrina Halili finally breaks her silence about her part in the Dr. Vicki Belo-Hayden Kho breakup in an interview. Like Dr. Belo, Katrina says she is also a ictim in that entire affair.
In an issue of The Buzz Magasin, Katrina also shares how she began her showbiz career; from joining a reality-based talent search to being one of today’s sexiest young actresses. She also tells of how she first met Hayden and how the doctor became very persistent in pursuing her even if he was already with Dr. Belo at the time.
Katrina confessed that she once invited Hayden to Boracay so he could be a shoulder to cry on as she was nursing a broken heart from a breakup with her boyfriend then. This was also the time when Hayden took advantage of Katrina and the situation according to the sexy star. Katrina also contradicted Hayden’s claim that what transpired between them was a relationship and was not just “for fun.” She also divulged that the doctor was also having simultaneous relationships with other women, including another sexy actress and a Brazilian model while he was with Dr. Belo and Katrina.

Actor John Lloyd Cruz just got back from his recent trip to New York where he and the rest of the cast of In My Life (A Mother’s Story) shot most of the crucial scenes for this movie. Together in this movie is Luis Manzano and Governor Vilma Santos, it’s her comeback movie after five years of not making movies.
“Ahhm, our take-off in New York was good, coz, we shoot the most of my scene with Luis there. Ate Vi, I don’t know if you already know, she already shoot here, the setting was in one province. The first half of the film, will happen here in the Philippines. Luis and I really shoot in America,” Lloyd said.
We also asked John Lloyd, who is also known as one of the country’s sensitive actors of, how is it to work first time with Vilma Santos, the legendary actress? Lloydie admited that there was shyness and pressure but he has to get over it. “The moment aws surreal. Ate Vi has a high screen presence.” Despite that unbelievable moment for John Lloyd to have finally worked with Ate Vi, the actor told ABS-CBN.com, he has to get over that feeling of being ilang and just get back to reality. He has to face the fact that he is now working with the one of the country’s most respected actresses. “I have to get over with those feelings coz if I don’t, I can’t do my job well.”
People seem to make a big fuss out of the kissing scene that Luis and John Lloyd shot in New York for this film. Unlike others who want to publicize such scenes, John Lloyd is still just getting away with that topic. “Its not that I’m irritated with that issue because we can’t really avoid talking about that. But then, people are getting a wrong inclination about that scene with Luis. It was a very tender moment of me and Luis,” John Lloyd stated.

The ex-Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus housemate Ejay Falcon has finally set his first major role as the leading man of Erich Gonzales in the upcoming teleserye Katorse. He had mostly kept out of the limelight since his big win. At the press conference of Katorse, Ejay clarified that it was his choice to lay low so he could prepare himself first before accepting an acting project.
“After PBB,I know in my self taht I’m not yet ready. I told Direk Lauren Dyogi (Business Unit Head of PBB) that I can’t act yet. I asked them to give me two months. But two months passed, there hasn’t anyone who has given me a project. I asked my handlers what’s my wrongs, then I fixed it. I learned so many things, just like how to get along with the people in showbiz, together with the continuous workshops.”
Ejay then thanked all the people who helped him get to where he is now. “I’m thankful to my family at of course to Mr. Johny Manahan of Star Magic, to my handler and my road manager, to Direk Lauren.. they’re so many. Of course to those people who are still supporting me and believes in me thats why I’m really doing my best.” But for this 19-year old from Mindoro, the most important lesson he learned is that he must first help himself before he gets help from others.
Ejay confessed that after PBB, he was hurt by all the negative comments and write-ups questioning his talent and his future in showbiz. But in the same way that he survived all the challenges inside the Big Brother house, Ejay never lost hope and set his mind on proving his detractors wrong.
Life has changed for Ejay since winning PBB. With his showbiz efforts, he was able to give his family back in Mindoro a more comfortable life.

This afternoon, the controversial doctor, Hayden Kho, finally face the media. In a private place in Metro Manila he met ABS-CBN News wherein he apologize to his family, friends and few women who were on sex videos. Kho even explained that those private materials were stolen by an old friend. He even said that he is not the one who scattered the videos. He admitted that he was also affected by those videos, coz he is also a victim. He is prepared to face the consequences and right now he will temporarily suspend his practice of medicine.
“I regret everything that has happened because of my poor judgment. I really regretted everything, for so many people who had been hurt because someone has stole it and even scattered it. Right now, I only feel deep remorse. I know it’s too much to ask for forgiveness right now, but I hope someday people will learn to condemn the sin and not the sinner,” Kho stated regarding the sex video scandals.

Teen superstar Erich Gonzales’ role as a teenage mom in Katorse become a hot topic as previews of the series was presented on May 18. ABS-CBN management seemed to be happy with her dramatic performance with Ejay Falcon and Xian Lim. The series is not just an installment of Your song but is now a part of the primetime block as what it is originally planned. “From what I’ve heard, its not a part of Your Song, its a teleserye. I think it would be viewed every afternoon. I am not sure about that. But that’s the reason why we’re more inspired to do our best and we’re praying that this show would be successful,” says the young star in an interview with ABS-CBN.com.
Given only a few weeks to go before the series airs, Erich said that she feels pressured and excited to see how the audience will react as she transitions into a more mature role where she is required to do kissing scenes and love scenes with her leading men.
The young actress furtherly shared that she couldn’t believe she was able to deliver that scene knowing that she doesn’t really have experience with guys to begin with. “Its my first time to do a love scene. Even in our workshops I’ve said that I don’t know how to kiss, coz I’ve never had a boyfriend. So I really don’t know. But then, they’ve all help me out. Technically, my first kiss [is Ejay], just like that. Coz I’ve had smack before [with my other leading men] but no, this one is really different. Super. Yes, this kiss is different. But one thing is for sure, I’m on to the next level,” she added with a laugh.
She knew from the very start what the role required and her parents have consented as well. “Yes, I asked them [the production people, what it would involve] and they offer me all the details about it. As for my family, they said, ‘If you really want to do it, we’ll support you.’ And I said, ‘Yes, this is what I really want to do.’ They even assure me that they will be always ther for me,” she explained.
The 19-year-old actress also reveals that she is willing to do other daring projects as long as it is within her limitations. “ I am open to anything. So let’s see,” Erich beamed.
Amalia Fuentes faces robbery

Veteran actress Amalia Fuentes, along with her son Gerard Stevens and two other respondents — Edmark Ramirez and Diosdado Cabilbil have been charged with robbery in a Quezon City court for allegedlybreaking into an office and seizing documents, valuables and stock certificates in 2007.
The charges stemmed form a 2007 complaint filed by Rafael Anton and Editha Lopez-Bernardo of the First Mindanao Agriculture Corp., which holds office on P. Tuason Blvd. in Cubao. Anton — a majority stock holder, and Bernardo — the corporate secretary, alleged that Fuentes and her co-accused picked the lock of FMA office in November 2007 and carted away several items from the office.
Those items are personal files, manager checks, digital cameras, car registrations, titles, checkbooks and stock certificates all worth P243,721.44 reportedly belonging to Anton.
On the resolution of Paner, there was a probable cause to indict the respondents as they were positively identifiedby 2 witnesses.
However, Fuentes denied the charges, she said the case was a rehash of old charges she was not aware until the Inquirer contacted her for comments. She furtherly stated that the case is still part of continuing harassment from her estranged husband Joey Stevens.
