KC thinks its not the right time for her to go sexy

Singer-actress KC Concepcion has been chosen to be the cover girl of the 9th anniversary issue of Chalk Magazine and she explained why the popular college magazine has a very special place in her heart. “This is just my second time to be on the cover of Chalk Magazine. But the first time was on 2003. That was one of the first few magazine covers I did that’s why Chalk is memorable to me. I’m excited cause its been a long time since I was featured in Chalk. I’m thankful that they chose me to be in the cover for their anniversary issue.”
The daughter of Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion has been the favorite subject of several magazines in the past few years. KC, however, doesn’t keep count of how many times she had appeared on the cover of a magazine. “I don’t know, ha ha ha! I don’t keep count when I do cover shoots,” the actress-singer laughingly revealed. Nevertheless, KC said she was very excited to be working again with the people of Chalk. “I asked for a copy of the magazine so I know what’s happening to the college students. It’s great working with people in Chalk especially with our photographer Mark Nicdao. They’re very relaxed while working. They’re cowboys, ha ha ha!”
Gifted with a refreshing face and a curvaceous body, KC has been getting offers to do a sexy pictorial for a men’s magazine. “There are offers…I think, ha ha ha,” she jokingly shared. But KC said that this may not be the right time to go sexy because she has the teleserye Lovers in Paris debuting soon on primetime TV. “I don’t think it (going sexy) is needed because Lovers in Paris is coming out on primetime. Cause the target audience of the teleserye are the young ones so its not fit for me to go sexy, for now.”
Aside from being an actress, singer, and model, KC also serves as a national ambassador for the World Food Program of the United Nations. She had visited poor countries and the war-torn towns in Mindanao to do on-site feeding and food distribution. This was the reason Chalk chose to feature her in their anniversary issue. “Obviously, what I’m doing in Mindanao is not a joke, I’m also risking my life. I’m thankful that Chalk and the others get to recognize my humanitarian works. They really show that I’m sincere in what I am doing,” she said.

After Dennis Trillo breaks up with on-and-off girlfriend Cristine Reyes once and for all, he has been linked to several pretty young actresses. In an episode of SNN, Kris Aquino revealed that she heard from her friend Popoy Caritativo, Dennis’s manager, that the actor is pursuing Heart Evangelista. But at the premiere of his film Astig, Dennis told reporters that he is not dating Heart. “No. We’re just seeing each other. Heart and I are not going out on a date.”
In the P.O.V. segment of The Buzz, Kris made a revelation about Dennis and Heart. “It’s my fault, I’ve exaggerated the story. Popoy has just said that Cristine is troubling Heart because of Dennis. I don’t know, on the phone or something. And if I’m not mistaken,your mom (referring to co-host Ruffa Gutierrez) is tellingCristine that ‘don’t get angry with Heart cause she knows nothing about that.’” Ruffa’s mom, Annabelle Rama, is Heart’s manager.
Kris immediately asked Ruffa to confirm whether it was true that her mother Annabelle had a serious talk with Cristine. “Confirmed!” Ruffa answered with a smile.
Aside from Heart, Dennis was also rumored to have dated Kaye Abad and Pauleen Luna. While The Buzz was still ongoing, Kris received a text from Popoy on the real score between Dennis and the girls being linked to him. “Dennis and Kaye just met outside accidentally. It wasn’t a date. Its just open that Heart is Dennis’ super crush ever since but he’s not courting her because Heart has always been attached. On Cristine, its already over and out. He enjoys being single now and is currently dating. Pauleen and Dennis do go out but I’m not sure if its already exclusive,” Popoy said via text.

“I play the role of Clara Andrada. I feel, the attention was grabbed from our own daughter,” Jackie Lou Blanco said pertaining to her roe in Kung Aagawin Mo ang Lahat Sa Akin.
“Basically, the plot is the same; the difference is that when we did it, it was just me and Sharon (Cuneta),” pahayag ni Jackie. “Now, its three—one is the true child andthe othe two was adopted. It’s still the same, in the sense that they were fighting for the attention of their father, and then of course there’s insecurities. There will also be some difference along the way.”
“For me, it should always come from a place of truth, eh, right? So put yourself in a situation that’s natural that she would have to show that she’s a bit jealous,” Jackie answered when asked about what she could advise to Glaiza. “Like she is feeling that she’s not doing any right thing.”
“Along the way, she will find the right blend, right? The right combination of what the character needs to be.”
Marian Rivera: “I’m not hard to be with”

Marian Rivera’s excitement is obvious foe her newest prime time series, ang Narda. She’s doing a lot of preparation, especailly on her fight scenes and of course, on her flight as the new superhero of the country.
Even the pictorial of the said show, Marian also seriously prepared for its her first time to wear the Darna costume.
“Of course I need to prepare for it, maintaining my body and of course, my fight scenes also needs my continuous training so that I won’t get lost,”Marian’s statement during her pictorial.
“I’m transforming like I’m changing. its really different if your costume is whole and then those who motivates you that you’d really think that it is a fight scee indeed! O, see?!”
She also admitted that she’s excited with her companions on the show, including Iwa Moto, Isabel Oli, Nadine Samonte, Robert ‘Buboy’ Villar, and of course, her leading man Mark Anthony Fernandez.
“Its our first time to talk last 59th anniversary of GMA. I’m sure he’s not hadrd to be with. Me, I’m just also simple, right? I’m also a happy person and I’m also not hard to be with,” Marian said when asked about her new leading man.
“I hope the public would still accept eventhough I have a different partner and they would love us.”
Its all good between Erik Santos and Rufa Mae Quinto

Singer Erik Santos and comedian Rufa Mae Quinto remained good friends even after their breakup two years ago. The two was seen happily greeting each other during the press visit of Kimmydora: Kambal Sa Kiyeme last July 16, and even promise to catch up on their respective love lifes soon.
Erik was also teased about his toned physique, with the press speculating that he was inspired to hit the gym because of the sexy actress. “Of course previously if Peachy is your girlfriend, her body is sexy, and then you’re skinny…So you’re being conscious [toning your physique]” he cheerfully added.
With their romantic past behind them now, Erik was able to share that he understood better why their relationship didn’t work out. “Our relationship before it was too young, too early, and too soon. We really tried to work it out. But, we both got tired,” he explained. “There’s so many people asking what’s the real reason of our break up, its immaturity. We’re both immature at that time. We first need to grow as Christians. I realize its a big thing that you have a deep relationship with god before you enter a relationship.”
When told about Rufa Mae’s childhood sweetheart who recently proposed to her, Erik was quick to say that he would be happy for his ex-girlfriend if ever she decides to tie the knot at this point in her life. ”I’ll be happy for her. If she asks to me sing on her wedding day, I would. Because Peachy and I have had a deep companionship. So right now, I already moved on. Eventough we’re seldom seeing each other, we’re on good terms. If she has problem I’m talking to her,” he stressed.
On his part, the singer admitted that he would also like to start his own family in the near future. “I’m planning to get married three years from now. But you can’t tell. I don’t know if its her,” he said, referring to his special someone who is based in Alaska—the same girl who supposedly caused Rufa Mae to break up with him out of jealousy. But Erik insisted that he had never been unfaithful to Rufa Mae when they were still together. “No… There’s no big deal about that girl cause we’re not having a relationship. There’s just something between us. You know? All of us are also experiencing that. But not during my relationship with Peachy, its after, but just too little cause of long distance,” he finally stated.
Jennica Garcia: “I’m addicted to Dennis.”

Before the Adik Sa ‘Yo has started, Jennica Garcia admitted that she’s very happy given a project with Dennis Trillo. Although nervous to the result of their team-up, she’s still on the go and promised she will do her very best.
“Of course it felt so good and I’m very grateful. I’m also nervous coz this has to work. That’s what is on my mind. This is a challenge for me and I’ll gonna surpass this,” the young actress bravely stated.
“Honestly, I’m a little nervous. I’m also tensed with Dennis. Of course, who will not be tensed when all along your working with a Dennis Trillo?” she explained.
But it turns out that Jennica has nothing to worry about because she’s one of those who are much awaited by the viewers on the Telebabad block of GMA. It’s because many is glad of her refreshing candor, specially on the scenes wherein she’s running after Dennis.
“I’ve no other vices than Adik sa Yo and Dennis only,” she said. But Jennica cleared out that her addiction to Dennis is only for the show, because she’s so focused on her work right now and to her family that she doesn’t want to think about her love life yet.
“I’m not thinking about that yet. I’ve already experienced having a boyfriend. For now, i’m okay with this. Work first. I’m only thinking about this, Adik Sa ‘Yo, my work, and my family.”

The past feeding project of Diether Ocampo has been special this year on his birthdayfoe the 1,200 children on the resettlement area in Bulaon, Pampanga last Saturday, July 18. Its because together with Diet giving foods to the children is her current girlfriend Rima Ostwani. “This is the first time I joined him for his K.I.D.S Foundation and I’m so happy. I’m so proud of him too,” Rima begun. “I have no position on his kids foundation, but, I’m the one who organizes activities for the kids. You know, coming out with events. I’m handling those activities for the children.”
Diet and Rima would be going one year and so far they’re preaparing for their first anniversary celebration. But Rima feels that there are so many things that happened to them. And one of the biggest trial for her love to Diet is when the actor has been hospitalized in America. During that time, Rima is aware that one of those who brought and attended Diet on the hospital is his Kristine Hermosa. “I would like to thank her for her support and for being there for Diether.”
“Oh no, I’m no jealous of Kristine. I’m very secured with what I have with Diether. So, our foundation is very strong. So, we’re very happy and things like that, is not needed. Ah, we’ve met already. She’s very nice.”
“Well, all I can say right now is I’m very, very happy with him and I’m very contented. And wherever God will take us I’m willing to go. Ah, we’re not yet still there. but we will see. I’ll think over that marriage matter,” Rima ended smiling.
Diana Zubiri is ready for drama and comedy

On the set of “Bubble Gang”, iGMA visited sexy actress Diana Zuburi. She said thatin that we might be seeing her on prime time sometime soon, but she doesn’t mention what show.
“Coz I don’t know if its okay to tell it now… its just said, its not yet on the making, not yet happening. So, I don’t know if its still be continued, or the role would still be mine,” she clarified.
“I’m a good actress [laughs]. Of course at first, you are a fan of yourself. Just like [chuckles] what Katrina Halili said before, ‘Love your own,’” Diana added.
From being a sexy model, she was able to transform herself into an actress. A regular on the longest running gag show on Philippine television, “Bubble Gang,” Diana has proven that she has comic timing and could be with the top-rate comedian of the country, like Michael V. and Ogie Alcasid.
In terms of drama, Diana recently starred two drama series “Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita” and “Gaano Kadalas ang Minsan” where she reprised the role of Ms. Hilda Coronel.
Diana attributes her transformation in show business on her experiences in life. It’s from my experiences [my every portrayal]. Not all happenings in life are happy, and not all are comedy right? Like the wheel of life, its turning so that’s wher i get my motivations,” explained Diana.
Truly, we can say Diana is ready for the upcomings on her career this 2009. It could be drama or comedy, we are sure that she will continue to soar higher this year.
Kris sets aside movies to focus on Cory

Actress and Queen of Talk Kris Aquino said she is giving up films for a while to focus on her ailing mother, former President Corazon Aquino.
Kris was supposed to be shooting a Metro Manila Film Festival entry for ABS-CBN’s Star Cinema with a working title “Ika Na Nga.”
Aquino said she already sent a letter to Star Cinema explaining why she can’t do the film.
“Unfortunately, because of our family circumstances now. I can’t do the film wherein I’m supposed to be one of the star for the festival. There. Things happen. So I hope there will be another opportunity in the future,” Kris said.
Kris and her family is now busy looking after Madam Cory, who is still confined at the Makati Medical Center due to colon cancer.
Vhong: “John Lloyd deserves to be happy”

Though John Lloyd Cruz and Ruffa Gutierrez have repeatedly denied rumors of a romance, a lot of people still believe that there is something special going on between them. Published photos of the two stars together in California further fueled such speculations. Whether it’s true or not, close friends have been giving the pair their support. This included Kanto Boys dance heartthrob Vhong Navarro who said, “They’re both my friends. Whatever makes them happy, I’m with them, I’ll support the two of them. They should just have priorities, I hope, they should put it first. It would be for the good of them, even to their families and fans.”
Vhong seemed to understand John Lloyd’s plight when it comes to balancing his career and love life. “We all know that the lives of an artist is not private. So we can see and know if the people could visualize it, so its hard. For me, to those people who are supporting, they should understand that an artist has also a personal life. Coz sometimes they’re against to his like, the love of their life, they don’t want it for him, there are case like that. But they can’t meddle in all things,” he explained.
When it comes down to it, Vhong agreed with John Lloyd’s belief that you can’t fight love when it comes to you. “I believe on it of course! When that love comes, you should open your door. If you don’t let it enter, it’s you who will suffer,” he added.
