Sarah doesn’t need a boyfriend yet

Singer-actress Sarah Geronimo, who turns 21 years old on July 25, is in no rush to be in a relationship. The bubbly singer was a little more serious than usual when she said that she prefers finding good friends rather than a boyfriend.

“What I need now is a friend whom I can talk anytime, whenever I’ve got problems, when I’m happy. I want a friend who will listen to me not a boyfriend,” she stressed.

With her hectic schedule, Sarah can barely find time to go out and bond with casual friends. “Honestly, ever since I just work and then go home. It’s like I never got the chance to mingle with my co-worker,” Sarah shared. Furthermore, she has to seek approval from her parents before she can go out and spend time with colleagues.

For her upcoming birthday, Sarah said that she wishes she could have more time for herself. Although she is grateful for her successful career, she would like to have time to relax and just spend it with friends. The actress-singer shared that she would like to go hiking or go camping, which she never experienced as a child.

Now that she is all grown up, Sarah shared that she would like to be a little more independent and do things on her own, but not to the point of living apart from her family.

Nevertheless, she has no complaints of her parents’ being protective of her because she knows that they are just concern for her welfare. “I understand all this. I know that I have many responsibilities just like being a model for the youth of today.”
