Iwa Moto portrays Valentina in Darna

As what is considered as a big break for her, Iwa Moto reprises the role of the villainous Valentina. And she admit that she indeed has big shoes to fill.
“I’m tumbling! Coz at first, I’ve heard I belong to the Top 5 of  FHM then I would also be Valentina, of coursee its an accomplishment for me.” Iwa Moto admoitted. “Then the feeling is super different coz its like a big role entrusted to me so I’m pressured! Stress!”

And she’s very much aware on how big the role it is, “Coz there would be no Darna if there’s no Valentina. It’s like my biggest, biggest, biggest role!”

Though Iwa is very excited to learn, she’s more inspired when got to know that Ms. Celia Rodriguez, one who plays Valentina on the former Darna series, belongs to the cast.

“All of them [the other cast members] when I turn around I’m naughty! When it comes to Ms. Celia, [I said] ‘Hi, good evening [po].’” Iwa narrated, “Of course you know that? I want them to be proud of Valentina. So I want to, eventhough I could not surpass them, at least I can achieve waht they have achieved.”
“I am willing to do anything, as in anything. If it is needed for me to workshop everyday just to be good and portray my character very well, I’ll do it!” dagdag pa niya. ”As usual, I have to go on a diet so the costume would fit! [laughs].”
