JC admitted her true feelings for Heart and Arci

“Coz they want it to be fast-paced, they want a happening every week,” explained JC. “Imagine, the script is just week nine and we’re just up to the fifteenth week, so it was brought to climax for it to be fast-paced.”

“In the original story, it was too short, so twists would be added into it and the characters are slightly different from the original story. It depends on the viewers, that’s what GMA is doing, they adjust on what the public wants.”

Love or wealth?

JC was asked about his relationship between Heart Evangelista and Arci Muñoz.

“Both are professional, no doubt ’bout that. they’re always in character,” JC replied.

“What’s great—first is Arci, her character here is different coz she’s too ill-tempered and she perfected the moves of Ms. Cherie Gil on the movie. So its good, coz the impact she had given on the show is like, ‘Grr, I hate her!” Yes, she’s really annoying,” he confessed. “I even said to her, ‘You’re annoying!’ its also seen on her face, then she become consistent on how she speaks, on how she delivers her lines, so very good. That’s what’s good on her.

“With Heart, I have nothing to complain about her. She almost always comes first on the set, then she already memorized her lines, even the monolouge—she got it all. She had no problem on drama, coz she can cry easily. A lil scene, she easily cry, so she’s awesome! Then I love having a scene with her. Since I’m on a drama, I suddenly enters lines and actions. Then she would reciprocate. So there, the act is becoming interesting—we can play it.

JC concluded, “And what’s adorable on her, since we’re working for the first time, she let me feel that I should be comfortable in her. At least we could make the craft nicely.”
