Iza Calzado Officially Transferred to Kapamilya Channel

Iza Calzado officially signed a three-year-contract with ABS-CBN today, January 24, 2012. The former Kapuso actress will replace Sharon Cuneta as the host of the award-winning Philippine installment of “The Biggest Loser.”

During the contract signing some of ABS-CBN’s executives were present including the network’s president Charo Santos-Concio. The contract signing happened will make Iza Calzado an official Kapamilya star. She signed an exclusive three-year-contract.

The former GMA-7 star had worked with Star Cinema on one of her movie titled “Milan” during that time she stated that one day will come that she will work with them again and that day had come today after she signed the contract.

After the official contract signing she stated also that she wants to do a movie projects with either Piolo Pascual or John Lloyd Cruz or both of them.

Iza Calzado admitted that transferring to rival station is a hard decision for her especially leaving behind the company that introduced her and gave her a big break in showbiz.

One of the hardest thing for her to leave is her bonding with the rests of Eat Bulaga stars where she was considered as mainstays. Although after the signing of the exclusive she can still visit the show or become a guest of Eat Bulaga but only during special occasions.

According to the newest Kapamilya star, Iza Calzado including on her contract are television series and reality shows. She is set to do a film with the station’s movie outfit Star Cinema as well.
