“Captive” the film which tells the story of the foreigners who were kidnapped by the famous kidnap-for-ransom group based in Southern Mindanao, the Abu-Sayyaf. The film will compete for the prestigious Berlin International Film Festival 2012.
Brillante Mendoza directed the film that was chosen as one of the main entry for the 2012 Berlinale. The Film Festival will be held this coming February 9-19, 2012.
The world famous Berlin International Film Festival will showcase different films produced from different parts of the world for the prestigious crown the Golden and Silver Bear prizes.
Brillante Mendoza talked about the film when he was interviewed by Karen Davila on ANC Alert’s Headstart.
